My work begins with a very person-centered approach, recognizing my role as one to listen and empower a client as they create the life they want to live. I often incorporate techniques from solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and dialectical behavioral approaches, particularly with clients experiencing depression and/or anxiety.

Through 10 years in the health and wellness industry, I’ve had experience working with individuals struggling with unhealthy relationships with food and their bodies. Working with these clients often utilizes foundational elements of mindfulness and self-compassion in the journey toward a life of more self-love and acceptance.

I enjoy working with individuals searching for a greater understanding of themselves, particularly in the areas of gender and sexuality. This is often a journey of identity development and acceptance.

I received a BA in Business Management (Florida State University) and an MBA (Goethe Business School), before switching gears and becoming a certified Eating Psychology Coach (Institute for the Psychology of Eating) followed by an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Wake Forest University).

I’m looking forward to getting to know you and becoming a part of your journey! Please don’t hesitate to reach out via email if you have any questions about the therapeutic process before getting started!
