We are all on our own unique journey. My clinical approach embraces this idea and incorporates concepts from Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Humanistic Therapy. Through collaboration, we will identify and address barriers to goal achievement, mental wellness, and overall well-being.
My goal of our work together is to provide you with a space of genuineness, acceptance, and empathy. Within our sessions, I utilize my active listening skills to support an engaging and interactive environment. My current work focuses on individuals seeking help with life transitions, anxiety, depression, and stress management – as well as individuals living with chronic illness and family members/caregivers of those struggling with mental illness.
With 9+ years of experience in the mental health field, I invite individuals from all walks of life to collaborate. My experience includes clinical research coordination, case management, psychotherapy, and evaluations and assessments within various mental healthcare settings.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Social Work from The Catholic University of America in 2014 and 2021, respectively. I currently practice under the direct, clinical supervision of Athena Gavaris, LICSW. At this time, I am an out-of-network provider with a rate of $125 per session.
