Mai M. Kindaichi

Dr. Mai Kindaichi (she/her) is a full-time psychologist with Parkhurst Associates MHS and an adjunct professor in the Counseling Psychology program, Department of Psychology at University of Maryland, College Park. She completed her doctoral training at Teachers College, Columbia University, and pre-doctoral internship at the University of Maryland College Park Counseling Center. She has worked clinically in university counseling centers, private practice, community mental health, and juvenile justice contexts for  over 15 years. Additionally, Dr. Kindaichi has instructed undergraduate and graduate psychology and counseling courses at local universities. 

She is a generalist in counseling psychology, and provides support through relationship issues, grief and loss, illness, identity developmental, mood and anxiety issues, and intersections of racial-cultural and social-location identities. Dr. Kindaichi also provides comprehensive psychological evaluations and ADHD evaluations.
