Jennifer Nunez

Jennifer Nunez is our bilingual Licensed Social Work therapist (Spanish). She completed her Master’s in Social Work from The Catholic University of America and has obtained her licensure for the District of Columbia (DC) and Maryland. Jennifer has a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Mount Saint Mary College and a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from Monroe College, both based in NY. Prior to joining the team, Jennifer worked with the homeless community in DC, children and families in the foster care system, and assisted families in relationship-building for the NYC Correctional System. Additionally, Jennifer has worked with immunocompromised individuals, adults with mental health disabilities, and served four years in the United States Navy.

As a therapist, Jennifer enjoys working with a diverse population and looks forward to bringing knowledge from her past professional experience to continue helping her clients. She has experience conducting individual and couple therapy, working with clients on a range of topics such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, co-occurring diagnoses, substance abuse, domestic violence, and other areas.

Jennifer is passionate about helping people and understands the importance of meeting people where they are. She looks forward to joining you in your journey. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and exploring the DC Metropolitan area.
