    Dan is a licensed, board-certified psychologist. As an intern, heworked in Hospice Care where he assisted clients dealing withgrief, trauma, and life changes. He was also able to help clientswork through anxiety, depression, and stress. Dan providedpersonalized help for each specific hurdle his clients faced, suchas loss of job or relationship, life transitions, and end of lifeconcerns for self or others.

    Dan received his Doctor of Psychology from California SouthernUniversity and his Master of Science in Clinical Mental HealthCounseling from Loyola University Maryland. His focus intherapy is based on both Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy andExistential Therapy. In Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Danis able to help the client understand what thoughts are presentand how to work through those thoughts to change behavior.An additional option for clients, if they desire, is ExistentialTherapy; with this optional approach, Dan helps the client tofocus on larger questions involving purpose in life, drives andpassions, meaning of life and also death, and other topics.

    While some of Dan’s interests include helping clients whostruggle with spiritual concerns and members of the LGBT+community, Dan is prepared to help each and every person thathe can. His experience in working with people from all walks oflife and diverse age groups aids Dan’s flexibility and aptitude forhelping many different people seeking help.
