Angela Fisher

Angela brings a laid-back, authentic style to therapy. With over 20 years of experience, she creates a space where clients can be themselves, talk things through at their own pace, and work through what’s feeling heavy or stuck. She especially enjoys working with people navigating big life transitions - becoming a new parent, grieving a loss, or going through relationship changes - the kinds of changes that can leave us feeling overwhelmed or unsure of what’s next.

Her approach is grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), but she tailors her work to fit each person and what they’re experiencing. Clients often describe Angela as easy to talk to, steady, and nonjudgmental. She’s mindful of each person’s background and life experience, and welcomes clients of all identities and walks of life.

Angela earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University and her master’s in Applied Psychology from New York University. She’s registered as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and sees clients through Parkhurst Associates.
