Madeleine Lawrence
Madeleine Lawrence is a board-certified, Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor specializing in emerging adulthood, life transitions, grief and loss, sexuality, and anxiety. Madeleine uses a psychodynamic, integrative approach to help clients understand their past and its impact on the present day, utilizing client-centered tools and insights. In session, Madeleine leads with an attachment-informed perspective to help clients understand how relationships impact our mental wellness, and serve as the foundation towards greater healing.
Madeleine’s goal as a clinician is for clients to feel heard and empowered towards creating the life they most want to live. Working alongside her clients, Madeleine hopes to help recognize the power and confidence to create this most desired way of living, and move clients towards a greater sense of ease.
Above all, Madeleine believes that therapy is not “one size fits all” and aims to create a safe, inviting space for clients to process their emotions and life experiences, explore and validate ways of being, and stand beside them on their journey towards their most authentic self.
Madeleine received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. She holds a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. In 2024, Madeleine received her certification in Imago Relationship Therapy.
